Vancouver-based producer Fairlane is teaming up with Peruvian-born singer Britt Lari on “Begin,” an impassioned collaboration arriving on Lost In Dreams Records.
“Begin” is a powerful ballad that blends electropop with melodic bass. Britt Lari’s vocals anchor the effort, painting a striking picture of a tumultuous but irresistible journey of personal growth. Airy chords are reinforced by moving guitar riffs and tension-building drums.

Fairlane breaks down the tone he aimed to capture around Britt’s delivery, saying: “I really wanted the song to be ‘fun’ while maintaining a sinister undertone—I was able to achieve this balance by incorporating minor progressions with new experimental production techniques such as using my own vocals to create the lead melody.”
