Argentine progressive house producer and Silk veteran Flexible Fire returned to the label today, teaming up with fellow Argentine producer Etza for their ethereal four-track EP, ‘Sunlight.’
Arriving as Flexible Fire’s fourth EP under the Monstercat Silk brand, ‘Sunlight’ takes listeners on a transportive journey through a comforting soundscape characterized by bright keys, crisp percussion, and warm orchestral strings.
Each of their signature progressive styles is evident throughout the package as the deep basses and atmospheric pads allow for seamless transitions between tracks. With one of the best-performing Silk singles on SiriusXM Chill last year, Flexible Fire has become a respected tastemaker in the progressive house space and ‘Sunlight’ is a perfect representation of his continued rise.
Flexible Fire shares, “When we worked on ‘Sunlight,’ we knew it would be something special and warm, like its name. It is a song that has that soft touch that relaxes you, and at the same time, makes you dance.”
Etza adds, “I showed Dario this idea that I had been working on — it was simple, and after listening to it, we both agreed that we had to do it together. From that moment on, we decided to work on it together. We spent some afternoons in his studio experimenting, and ‘Sunlight’ was the final result.”
