London based, multi-instrumentalist Foodoo has gained widespread critical acclaim for his ability to produce genre-bending and emotive beats of unparalleled quality, with his new Mine EP.

Following the success of his 2015 EP titled ‘Yours’, the 20-year-old wunderkind delivers ‘Mine’, his new slice of synth-led production. A 4-track release showcasing the rich, electronic sounds that merge hazy R&B with jazz-tinged downtempo melodies, Foodoo takes the listener on a voyage through various moods and rhythms, producing a stellar collection of work.

“I feel these four tracks have similar influences that my debut EP ‘Yours’ had but show where my sound has evolved since then.” he explains “still taking classic sounds from R&B and Soul and bringing them into the future.”

Producing music from the age of 14, Foodoo received his very first airplay on BBC 1Xtra just 4 months later and has since gone on to work with, and remix, artists including Bonkaz, Sway, Tiggs the Author, Bluey Robinson, Glasser and Raheem Bakare.

His talents have earned him recognition from the likes of Gilles Peterson, Kitsune, Subsoul, Tru Thoughts and True Panther Sounds as well as numerous tastemaker DJ’s with thousands of plays on Soundcloud and a growing slew of new fans.

A diverse and dynamic release, the ‘Mine’ EP is out now.
