Powerhouse melodic house & techno duo Gem & Tauri release their sophomore EP since debuting their project in 2020.
The ‘Crownless EP’ builds off their success from their first headline tour in the winter and sees them refining their club and festival friendly style. “Fatal Love” features addictive basslines and seductive femme fatale vocals by #1 iTunes Dance charting songwriter Notelle while “Crownless” goes full melodic techno with stuttering synthlines and high energy progressions.
The lead single “Waking Up” rounds out the three, blending Notelle’s moody, late night vocals with chest-thumping grooves. The duo is
currently promoting the EP heavily on tour with Seven Lions with shows at the Tacoma Dome (10k), LA State Historic Park (22k) and 3 shows at the Brooklyn Mirage (15k in total).
Powerhouse duo Courtney Simmons and Emma Montalvo, under the alias Gem & Tauri, have been involved in the EDM scene for over 10 years, gaining a love for the house and techno genre. The duo brings an unfound charisma and chemistry to their performances and production with a groovy blend of tech, deep, and progressive house.
