The legendary, Grammy-nominated DJ & producer, Todd Terry has now released his remix of the hit, ‘Ginger’ by Riton and Kah-Lo which has already amassed over 5 million streams, becoming one of the most successful summer anthems.

The track begins off with a rich house flavour without any delay, as the husky vocals compliment it well. The use of raw sounds at a few places which play out in the background has an influence that one can’t miss. The drop is quite heavy and has a very raw texture to it, amplified by the bouncy nature towards the latter part of the track.

The New York-based DJ is a pioneer in house music, ever since the 80s and has spent a lot of his time in the industry fusing classic disco and the introspective Chicago sounds. His prime experience makes this particular mix a club-ready track and precedes his summer sets at Hi Ibiza for Glitterbox and Defected Croatia.

‘Ginger’, the original, has seen an immense response in the industry and has received support from the radio. The track has been playlisted by Rinse FM and Kiss Fresh along with Annie Mac, Mistjam, and Target on BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra. It has also has been played across Beats 1 and BBC 6 Music.

A Grammy-nominated duo who have amassed over 50 million streams on previous releases together, Kah-Lo & Riton have forged a highly successful partnership, with Kah-Lo’s rich Nigerian vocals bringing character to London-based DJ Riton’s hammering basslines.
