Multi-instrumentalist and indie-electronic producer Grant alongside electro-house producer Ellis have made their anticipated return to Monstercat today, with the rock-tronic single, “Dead Man Walking”.
Inspired by the eccentric likes of Radiohead and Jeff Buckley, the sultry guitar riffs, moody scales, and alluring vocals carry a sinister tone that maintains its pop edge. Grant and Ellis are no strangers to Monstercat, respectively earning millions of streams on their biggest hits over the years, with “Dead Man Walking” seeing the duo break expectations and reintroduce their artistic range.
Ellis shares, “I’m SO buzzed to be back out there releasing music again, and it’s a pleasure to do so with my brother Grant!”
Grant adds, “I wasn’t sure if I could pull off a more “sinister” sounding vocal performance, but in the end I think it’s one of the best performances I’ve done on one of my own tunes so far. Ellis and I really wanted to try something fun and different with this record and we hope you like it!”
