After months of UFO rumors, secrecy, and endless whispers, Ibiza’s most mysterious new club is finally ready to drop the curtain, literally. Say hello to UNVRS, Ibiza’s newest nightclub, landing on the island like a spaceship straight out of a sci-fi fever dream.

Opening on Friday, 30 May 2025, UNVRS isn’t just a place to party, it’s a full-blown experience crafted by the legends behind Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza, aka The Night League, led by Yann Pissenem. This isn’t your average club. It’s a tribute to Ibiza’s roots and a bold signal of where global nightlife is headed next.
Built on the grounds of one of Ibiza’s most iconic former venues, UNVRS is more than a club, it’s a living, breathing monument to the future. From the outside, it plays it cool with traditional Ibizan finca vibes: whitewashed walls, earthy tones, natural stones. But step inside and you’re basically entering another dimension. This space has been obsessively designed down to the door handles. Every inch, from the steel beams to the plants, has been curated like an art exhibit.
The club’s design feels like what you’d get if a Parisian Haussmann architect, a sci-fi set designer, and an art deco sculptor built a dream together. Inside, the vibe shifts through indoor and outdoor zones, secret corridors, layered floors, and mirrored hallways. There’s even a restructured dome on the terrace, wrapped in steel vertebrae and climbing plants that looks like something straight out of Alien.
At its heart, UNVRS is still a nightclub, but with the scale of an arena. The massive dancefloor is wired for full sensory overload with a custom L-Acoustics sound system engineered to match opera house standards. Lighting isn’t just flash and dazzle, it’s layered in three intelligent systems: functional, architectural, and performance. This means the space can shapeshift from night to night with huge scenic builds and boundary-pushing productions by High Scream, the brains behind some of the biggest shows on the planet.
Of course, VIP at UNVRS is on another level. The main VIP balcony hugs the dancefloor in a massive inverted U, while hidden lounges like The Catacomb give exclusive guests a secret route around the club. There’s even a private open-air terrace for VIPs to catch a breath and flex a little under the stars. But despite the swank factor, UNVRS is for everyone. Its layout is open and inviting, designed to be inclusive, not just a velvet rope fantasy for the elite.
Need a break mid-rave? The outdoor terraces are sculptural, leafy sanctuaries with panoramic views of Ibiza Town. And then there’s The Wild Comet, which may be the world’s first micro-club inside a toilet. Not kidding. It’s a soundproofed room with its own DJ booth and reactive lighting. Every bathroom at UNVRS is styled like a set piece from a high-budget sci-fi movie.
Even the food and drinks get the five-star treatment. The curated culinary program is designed for nightlife, not messy, not smelly, just seamless bites and perfect pours served at optimal temperatures to keep you going till sunrise.
And now for the part everyone’s been waiting for, the lineup. UNVRS launches with a huge season of residencies, each one more epic than the last. Starting with Eric Prydz’s Holosphere 2.0 every Monday from 2 June to 1 September. Tuesdays belong to Anyma from 8 July to 26 August, while Jamie Jones’ Paradise: Sands of Solaris takes over Wednesdays starting 18 June through 1 October. Thursdays? That’s FISHER from 5 June to 25 September. Fridays are pure chaos with David Guetta’s Galactic Circus from 13 June to 3 October. Saturdays are stacked with elrow from 7 June to 4 October, and Sundays bring the legend Carl Cox from 22 June to 21 September. There’s also a few exclusives: ANOTR on 15 June and Sara Landry on 29 September.
This isn’t just Ibiza’s newest nightclub, it’s probably the most ambitious nightlife venue in the world right now. UNVRS is a full-sensory beast that blurs the lines between architecture, art, and rave culture. It’s wild. It’s surreal. It’s 100% Ibiza. And if you’re not there this season, did you even party?
