“Rock” is a new peak time techno release by Italian producers IMPULSE FACTORY and MOTVS who together run Exetra Records.
Exetra Records has become a main outlet for their shared productions and their latest track also comes via the imprint, which has been picking up a steady momentum with the help of numerous placings inside Beatport’s techno charts.
Their latest release boxed off a successful year for them, which includes MOTVS releasing on the Cosmic Boys’ Legend in addition to their numerous outings on Exetra Records.
MOTVS is the better known of the two in terms of their modern techno productions, as his music can also be heard on T78’s Autektone and Spartaque’s CODEX. Although, IMPULSE FACTORY is the more experienced of the two, as he has been releasing music since the ‘90s and is well-known within the Italian hardcore scene.
Opening with a pulsating bassline and eerie synth melody, “Rock” builds tension as it unfolds with a fast and furious energy. Its hard-hitting groove and trippy vocal stabs add to the intense atmosphere and reaches a crescendo in the main breakdown just before the percussion hits back in.
