In:Most look to offer a fresh take on Drum & Bass with their latest EP – Pictures In My Mind, out now on Goldfat Records.
Mitekiss and Goldfat Records
Mitekiss is a Croydon based producer known for making Drum and Bass. A relatively new name on the lips for some but an extremely loved producer for the folks who’ve been digging his music over the last two years. Mitekiss has made some major moves in a very short time featuring on some massive labels such as Chase & Status’s MTA imprint and Friction’s Shogun Audio. Mitekiss released his Final Hours EP on Shogun Audio’s sister imprint SGN:LTD and it was by far one of the most soul bending pieces of music we’ve heard from the producer.
Mitekiss owns a label known as Goldfat Records which was started by him in 2015. Goldfat Records hasn’t been the most prolific label in terms of releases since its inception but quality is more important than quantity, and Goldfat Records has certainly been reliable, releasing some crisp, soulful drum and bass with releases by PIN, Shiva and the Bossman Mitekiss himself.
In:Most – Pictures In My Mind EP
Goldfat have made further strides this year releasing the “Pictures In My Mind” EP by In:Most. In:Most is an English/Australian duo making drum and bass with releases on labels such as Soulvent Records and Silent Audio. What makes the duo interesting is the garage influence to it. In:Most’s music is a perfect blend of spaciousness and groove to take the listener on a trip to his unseen memories of utopian scenery.
“Pictures In My Mind” features four super soulful tracks with the title track ‘Pictures In My Mind’ featuring Mr. Porter on vocals, a Goldfat regular and frequent drum and bass vocalist across the scene. Four tracks of some of the most accomplished and beautifully elegant drum & bass to have emerged so far this year. Give it a listen!
