ARIA-nominated Producer of the Year Jia Lih (aka Alex JL Hiew) has unveiled his debut track ‘Keep Talking’ following a wealth of previous production experience, working on Troye Sivan’s chart-topping releases ‘Youth’ and ‘Wild.’
A deep, soulful track, layered with rhythmic chords and electro melodies, ‘Keep Talking’ verges on the peak 2013 era of deep house, with Hopium lending a hand on vocals; the latter famed for his highly acclaimed track ‘Dreamers.’
Having spent the last 14 months producing for some of the biggest names in the industry, including Ruel, M-Phazes, and Tkay Maidza, Jia has carved a reputation for his signature ability to deliver pop music with a fresh edge and point of difference. After being nominated as Producer Of The Year by ARIA (Australian Recording Industry Association) for his work on Troye Sivan’s ‘Youth’ (280 Million Spotify streams) and ‘Wild’ (110 Million Spotify streams), Alex has stayed consistently in demand thanks to his flawless production skills, and highly fashionable aesthetic.
“This just felt right and I was ready to put my name behind something for a change”, said Jia Lih about the release.
Serving as an embodiment of Jia Lih’s production roots, ‘Keep Talking’ is out now.
