Dim Mak presents “Bassline” – the latest bonafide smash from JSTJR.

Available December 1, the aptly titled track boasts a crave-able and exciting leading bassline, with alluring high-pitched vocals and bits of energetic hard techno. The hybrid track shows off a harder side to JSTJR, whose project isn’t known to ever stick to one style.

On the track, JSTJR adds; “Bassline came together right before EDC Vegas and I got to premiere it in my set (Valentino Khan did too on Main Stage!). I’ve been so inspired by that simple, classic, ravey sound from the early 2000s and wrote and recorded the lyrics myself a couple days before the festival.”

LA-based DJ and producer JSTJR’s music is an embodiment of high energy. His expertise in mixing and blending genres keeps fans on their toes and makes for absolute addicting live sets and music releases. With his eclectic sound, he has earned releases on dance music’s top labels such as Dim Mak, Mad Decent, Spinnin’, Fool’s Gold, Insomniac Records, Confession and many more. Recent collaborations include tracks like “I Wanna” with Henry Fong and “Belong” with Good Times Ahead, but his collaboration and remix roster is deep- including dance music’s top acts like Diplo, Major Lazer, and Skrillex.
JSTJR has always been known to push boundaries and be on the cutting edge of dance music worldwide, which is reflected in both his sets at major festivals (like Hard Summer, Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, and Electric Zoo in New York) as well as his monthly party, “Group Chat” that he throws in Los Angeles with Insomniac Events.

Inspired by his time throwing illegal underground warehouse parties in LA, JSTJR aims to be a leading voice in the resurgence of rave-inspired, techno sounds that are currently proliferating dance music around the world. His newest releases, such as “Techno Girl” and “Bassline,” are just a couple of songs that have undoubtedly drawn out immeasurable energy and reactions from his audience, leaving them captivated and wanting more.

Beyond his music, JSTJR maintains a strong social media presence, actively engaging with his fans online and in person. He’s not just an artist; he’s a part of the community. He’s the driving force behind his own record label, “Group Chat,” a community-based platform created to offer artists a space to release their music without the pressures of expectations and judgments. It’s a testament to his commitment to fostering creativity and collaboration within the music industry.
