LA-based singer/songwriter Kaerhart is tackling the worlds of activism and music with poise and dedication, as she continues to push for a safe space for all beings through her musical output. Her debut single “Drain My Love” came out last year with over 800k streams, building early support and buzz around the Kaerhart project.

Out today, Kaerhart releases “For What It’s Worth” a project in collaboration with LA-based producer Dead Robot. When speaking on the single Kaerhart share remarks “I was in a session with my good friend and producer, Dead Robot. We were both feeling outraged and upset about the state of the world and everything going on in our political climate. We wanted to convey that feeling into a song and decided that there would be no better way than to cover one of the greatest protest songs of all time – ‘For What Its Worth.”

Dead Robot has crafted the production to feel gritty yet beautiful and powerful. During the time of collaboration there were protests breaking out across the country and he wanted the music to embody that energy. “‘For What It’s Worth’ is a testament to prevailing issues that have existed in our society from the 1960’s – civil rights, women’s rights, the hippie movement – are a lot of the same issues that are still being faced today. This song serves as a reminder that for generations humans have continued to make the same mistakes… But I believe we are living in a critical time, one where we can finally begin choosing love over fear,” shares Kaerhart.

Be on the lookout for this artist to watch as she continues spreading her global vision of positivity and unity.
