Kid D is someone who has been around in the industry, perfecting his music, for many years now and has now released his new album – Authentic Expressions, which features artists like Kyze, Dotty, Ghetts , Tigz and many more.

The album will be out on his own label, ‘2 Easy Records’, which has received huge popularity across the the world. The album is a perfect expression of his artistic talent and is set to mesmerize the huge fans bases, namely in USA, Japan, Canada, Jamaica and the UK.

‘Own Dynamics’ is the album intro and is a great vibe, with some melodic piano works and soulful bass. ‘Illusion’ feat. Ghetts has a great thumping vibe to it with some great rhymes, and ‘Roll The Dice’ sounds much more thrilling and mysterious; a really great sounding instrumental.

The lead single of the album, ‘Wavin’ feat. Max Rock, is a great display of truly authentic hip-hop, while ‘What I Do For You’ sounds somewhere between pop and hip-hop, once again displaying a very groovy, slow tempo. ‘Silent Pain’ is very unique, sounding soothing with chimes and rocking with some great rap.

‘Uplift’ truly lift up the mood of the album and is perfectly placed in it too. The track featuring Kyze, ‘Slow Down’, offers a crisp vibe of percussive fun and catchy vocals. ‘My Essence’ is very powerful and futuristic in its texture, while ‘Spray Off’ feat. Tigzis once again a heavy hitting song on the mind and the emotions too, with its violin bits.

‘Jet Pack’ is a fast-paced track which has some great work done in the form of the unique sounding loops and the last track, feat. Max Rock, ‘Made It’ offers a simply soothing vibe, coupled with percussion at the right time and the crisp lyrical work- truly a great end to the pack.

Growing up in South East London, he drew from his surroundings to create a sonic rendition of his experiences in of the world’s creative capitals. His profound vision and versatile styles lead him to the production of singles along with the likes of Wiley, Skepta, Ghetts and Devlin. Although, his original aim was always to elevate the grime scene with his unique nature of production.

His tracks like ‘Jet Pack’ already getting spins from Sir Spyro’s show on BBC Radio 1xtra, and continues to receive more support from the likes of many legends of the scene. It’ sure going to be a great package for all the hip-hop lovers! Download it here.
