Today, Kito and ZHU’s ultimate summer club record “Follow (with Jeremih)” receives a lively new remix courtesy of Dillon Francis.
The genre-hopping producer/DJ leans into the song’s blissful vibes, mixing the original’s piano hits and percussion with his own dancefloor-ready groove.
The “Follow” remix is ecstatic in the way songs feel after hours spent in the club. It arrives today paired with a visualizer featuring dancing eyeballs and floating doors, which only underscores the trippiness that Francis brings to the track via wild synths and vocal effects.
For Kito, this remix comes after a string of stunning singles that followed her 2019 debut on Astralwerks. Her Empress Of collaboration, “Wild Girl,” made waves on U.S. dance radio and earned over 13 million streams across the globe. Recent months have also seen the release of “Alone with You,” featuring AlunaGeorge, and “Bitter” with FLETCHER. Last month she and ZHU shared the feel-good video for “Follow,” featuring dancers moving fluidly through the empty streets and spaces of New York City.
Each single Kito has released over the last few years demonstrates the Australian-born artist’s continued growth as a producer, paying tribute to her roots in the global dance music scene while demonstrating a knack for a textured, unexpected take on pop music.
