Following the release of lead single “Trash Talk” earlier this summer, Kompany returns with the full unveiling of his explosive ‘Quorum’ EP.
Featuring collaborations with Kai Wachi, Barely Alive, and & Staysick, the ‘Quorum’ EP is set for release on August 25th via Disciple Recordings, legendary for their output within the bass music genre.
Contrary to what casual music listeners might think, the complexities behind the production of bass music requires much more than an appreciation for neckbreaking drops and loud, aggressive production. Each production in the ‘Quorum’ EP can rightfully be considered a symphony and Kompany is the maestro, the conductor behind each of the seven tracks presented. There is a method to this madness, a borderline scientific meticulousness that fuels the glorious, sonic chaos in the ‘Quorum’ EP. The energy is unrelenting and the quality is consistent throughout, from the opening single gut punch of “Solar Plexus” to the incendiary madness of “Pumpany” with fellow genre favorite, Kai Wachi. Formerly released lead single “Trash Talk” accurately set the stage for this 7-track EP, fully alerting fans of the carnage to anticipate from the full ‘Quorum’ EP. “Flat” features a slight tempo change, giving listeners a breather before taking things back to full throttle in final track “Move” with Staysick.
