Kylie Minogue wrapped up her very first US and Canada arena tour with tears, gratitude, and a whole lot of love in Los Angeles, and fans couldn’t get enough.
The pop icon, now 56, was visibly emotional as she hit the stage at Crypto.com Arena on May 2, closing the North American leg of her Tension tour with a powerful, heartwarming moment. It was the final stop of a 16-date run across the US and Canada, and Kylie Minogue’s US tour finale became one of her most emotional shows ever.
Performing songs from her massive four-decade-long catalog, Kylie took a moment to pause and soak it all in. “Here we are in 2025, and I get to be on a world tour with these beautiful humans,” she told the crowd, fighting back tears. “It’s been a lifetime, and sometimes it just amazes me. So very, very grateful. Thank you so much for being here.”
For Kylie, this wasn’t just another gig. It was a full-circle moment. After years of dominating the charts and stealing hearts across Europe and Australia, her long-awaited US arena tour marked a milestone that was clearly deeply personal. As the crowd screamed and danced to every beat, Kylie matched their energy with a heartfelt speech that made the night unforgettable.
Right before her final song, the fan-favorite Love at First Sight, she looked out at the crowd and gave a glowing tribute to her fans and crew. “You’ve been beyond tonight,” she said. “Thank you so much for being here, for your beautiful energy, for being here for me in all different times of my career. For being there for each other!”
She made sure to shout out the team that helped bring the tour to life too, saying, “I just want to give a real shout-out to our entire crew because this has been an incredible run. We’ve loved it, so thank you.”
Then with a cheeky grin, she added, “I’ve got some old friends here tonight. Look at me now!”
Kylie Minogue’s US tour might be over, but her journey is far from done. She kicked off the Tension tour in her hometown of Perth, Australia, before performing three dates across Asia in March, then heading to North America. Next, she’ll hit Europe later this month, and in August, she’s off to South America before finishing up in Mexico. By the end of the tour, she’ll have played almost 70 shows across 25+ countries on five continents, an epic achievement for any artist, let alone one who’s been at it for more than 40 years.
The US tour may have ended, but Kylie’s emotional words and undeniable presence left a lasting imprint. Whether you were lucky enough to catch her live or watched from afar, one thing’s clear, Kylie Minogue’s still got it, and she’s only getting better.
