Hailing from the UK, Lad Alive present their debut release, ‘Everybody Be Uprising’ – a disco-funk flavoured house cut with feel-good vibes taking center stage.

Recently formed, Lad Alive (from Newcastle, UK) is a refreshing new group to touch down on the electronic music scene. Headed up by true northern souls Marc Gibb & Nicolas Hall (with previous output, signed to Kitchenware Records), Mike Porter (keyboardist, with the revered Smoove & Turrell). The group’s eclectic sound features a contagious blend of funk, northern soul and disco-house electronica.

Now sees Lad Alive drop their piano-laden, vocal-driven debut track ‘Everybody Be Uprising’ featuring vocals from Sunderland-born, Berlin-based Jess Roberts (production assistant for PJ Harvey) Along with the original, come two club-ready remixes from – Forriner & Anti-Tank.

With early backing from Robert Owens (Fingers Inc), a figure that requires little introduction & past collaborations include the likes of Frankie Knuckles, Larry Heard & Satoshi Tomiie. The single has also picked up the seal of approval from the UK’s Man Power – an artist Resident Advisor referred to, as one that delivers ‘intergalactic House music’.

Stay tuned, as ‘Everybody Be Uprising’ continues to fire up a host of airwaves & global support, ahead of the official release: 16th September 2019.
