Following the astounding success of ‘Hungry (For Love)’ last year that followed LF SYSTEM’s song of the summer and 8 week official UK no.1 Afraid To Feel, the duo continue their ascent into 2023 with an official remix of ‘Hungry (For Love)’ from dance legend Paul Woolford whilst dropping their debut vinyl release of Afraid To Feel / Hungry (For Love).
Packed with piano, the remix is only set to add fuel to the fire of the original that is still flying high. Since its release in October last year, the single has continued to reign on airwaves, currently sitting on BBC Radio 1’s A-List and earning over 4M streams and counting.
Meanwhile, LF SYSTEM’s Afraid To Feel also won dance track of the year at the BBC Radio 1 Awards, landed their 7th Hottest Record Of The Year, nominated for best track at the DJ Mag Best Of British Awards and starred as one of Notion’s co-signed by Clara Amfo’s cover stars list for 2023.
With Afraid To Feel landing remixes from Armand Van Helden, David Guetta & Dyro, Tommy Villiers, CID and Gerd Janson, Hungry (For Love) gets its first remix treatment from the one and only Paul Woolford. With a career that spans over 20 years, Woolford has redefined and reinvented all spheres of dance music with a versatile production palette and tastemaker ear.
He has applied his touch to over 200 records including crossover hit Looking For Me with Diplo and Kareen Lomax, whilst recording five BBC Radio 1 Essential Mixes across his career, dropping a DJ Kicks compilation under his Special Request moniker and more as well as contributing sound design to various Hollywood trailers including Bladerunner 2049.
