Renowned producer and songwriter Like Mike recently surprised his fans with the promise of a solo album release during the fall of 2021. Leading up to the much-anticipated album, Like Mike has today released ‘One Night’, a collaboration with global afrobeat star Mr Eazi.
The song ‘One Night’ was written by Like Mike during a hectic summer in Ibiza. The concept behind the song centers around two people briefly connected through only “one night.” A fleeting, sexy moment that lasts for one night only, with a beat and melody that invokes the desire to dance and release ones inhibitions.
During a journey that spans over 15 years, Like Mike has achieved a staggering number of career highs and secured #1 singles in a multitude of countries. His 2016 single ‘The Hum’ went platinum and a collaboration in 2017 with Ne-Yo on ‘Higher Place’ secured the #1 Billboard Dance Chart position.
Now focusing on his vocals and songwriting, Like Mike has excited his fans with recent releases ‘Put Your Lips’ and ‘Excited.’ His latest release, ‘One Night,’ features celebrated Nigerian artist Mr Eazi, a visionary writer with collaborations from J Balvin to Beyoncé to Bad Bunny.
