It’s not everyday an emerging artist gets the stamp of approval from multiple industry legends – but for longstoryshort, it’s becoming the norm.
Praised by the likes of Dr. Fresch, CID, Wax Motif, Tchami and Dillon Francis, longstoryshort is making waves in the dance music scene, and it’s hard to ignore.
On July 28, longstoryshort is dropping “LET’S GET ILL” – a fiery bass house track, with an intricate and crisp production and hype vocals that has proven to make dancefloors rowdy. Self released on his own JustUs imprint, “LETS GET ILL” has already been rinsed by Austin Millz, and Dr Fresch.
On the tracks’ sound longstoryshort explains; “My last EP “HER” was very melodic and “LET’S GET ILL” was inspired by all my recent touring. It’s been amazing to finally start playing shows, being on tour this year with Dr. Fresh and Knock2 was motivating to get back in the lab and make more music for the clubs.”
Summer 2023 is proving to be a pivotal one for LSS, as he’s been booked as support for Dylan & Harry, and Habstrakt, and has sets at esteemed festivals like Lost Lands and Freaky Deaky.
