Belgian DJ and producer Lost Frequencies has dropped a remix of the new twocolors smash ‘Bloodstream’, out 21st May.

Steeped in contemplation and emotion, the Lost Frequencies remix of ‘Bloodstream’ centres around shimmering pads and glistening synths – while losing none of the anthemic energy that makes the original so special. Released last month, ‘Bloodstream’ has already racked up 13 million global streams.

“‘Bloodstream’ is a song about a broken relationship.” twocolors previously explained. “When every cell in your body craves for the other person, and you are going through the motions. You just can’t do without. ‘I’m just going through withdrawals’, ‘Bloodstream’ reminisces about a love lost, aching for one more shot to feel alive again.”

When it came to choosing a remix artist, there was simply no other choice than Lost Frequencies:

‘We are big fans of Lost Frequencies. Songs like ‘Are You With Me’ and ‘Reality’ have shaped us creatively in our approach to making music. We are very happy that he has now remixed our single “Bloodstream” and we remixed his track “Rise”. We look forward to meeting him in person, as soon as regulations allow for it. Exciting times!’ – twocolors

Their previous single ‘Lovefool’, an infectious rework of the track of the same name by The Cardigans, peaked at #4 in UK Shazam Discovery and reached #21 in the Global Shazam Chart with over 3.2 million tags, trending ‘Top 20’ in over 30 countries.

It is officially gold-certified in Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Poland, platinum in Finland, double-platinum in Austria and Switzerland and triple-platinum in Russia. With a total of over 1.2 Billion global streams, the pair’s monthly listeners have now skyrocketed to over 7 million.

Since first emerging onto the global electronic music scene in 2014, Brussels-born Lost Frequencies has ascended to extraordinary heights, playing to sold-out audiences around the world, amassing over 2 billion streams, breaking chart ground and becoming a sought-after producer and remixer.

The first Belgian ever to hit #1 in the UK with his own ‘Are You With Me’, which also went multi-platinum across the globe, he’s also remixed the likes of Justin Bieber, Major Lazer and Diplo. Recognised as one of the fastest rising artists by the likes of DJ Mag, the Tomorrowland resident remains one of the most influential and exciting artists in global dance music.

The Lost Frequencies remix of ‘Bloodstream’ sees twocolors collaborate with one of dance music’s most cherished talents – with dazzling results.
