CAT TALE – “The beautiful and endless wonders that come from the unconditional love of a pet, and the bond we share with them. We should never take these things for granted. This is a story of my cat, Kitty, that I grew up with. She unfortunately passed away around the time I wrote this song, so this serves as a cute musical journey of my joyful and playful cat!”
ATTACH – “Genuine attachment to others can lead us to great love, but can also leave us in despair. Ultimately, this process will always lead us to where we need to truly reside. This track came to me upon going through several significant relationships in high school and college, and for each and every I’m so grateful for, as they taught me so much about the person I am now and how to be the best version of myself.”
HOME – “A home is family, not a physical object/building, stressing the idea that home can be spiritually bound in many ways and can be carried with oneself, regardless of where we go. This tells the story of when I finally visited my parents house after a long stretch of touring, and I actually ended up writing the track there. It made me realize that home never really left – and I carry so much of it with me.”
