Italian electronic duo Mind Against pulls out all the stops on a new interpretation of TSHA & NIMMO’s hit 2021 single “OnlyL,” originally released via Ninja Tune.
Maintaining the integrity of NIMMO’s mesmerizing vocals, the long-awaited new version takes “OnlyL” from artful dance-pop to a rich and layered cinematic piece that blends deep, resonating bass with a soaring, crunchy arpeggiated synths that take the cut to a new dimension. Out via Mind Against’s newly-minted label, HABITAT, the new track doubles as the duo’s first self-released offering since launching the imprint last summer.
Mind Against’s sensational twist of “OnlyL” presents the perfect balance of restraint and exuberance, allowing NIMMO’s vocals to soar while enveloping them in a platter of vibrant beats that highlight the duo’s signature mastery of texture and depth. Their latest sonic treat is out via their imprint HABITAT, which has housed a diverse range of records from promising players in the electronic music space since its launch in mid-2023, including Sam Shure, Dyzen, and Sideral.
Hailing from Italy and currently based in Lisbon, brothers Alessandro and Federico Fogini – alias Mind Against – have made a name for themselves in the global dance music scene, becoming known for their emotionally rich sound palette.
