Bass house mainstay Moksi returns with a bold and hard hitting bass house collaboration called ‘Gimme Bass’.
Joining forces with LA-based producer Nostalgix, the single truly represents the best of both worlds.
“Ever since Nostalgix came on the block, I’ve been wanting to work with her. Her songs, liveshows and personality really click with me,” adds Samir (Moksi). The collaboration started in early 2022 in a studio near LA, “Her vocals literally screamed for a bass heavy production, and so that’s what we did!”
‘Gimme Bass’ blends Moksi’s signature bass lines with Nostalgix’ hypnotizing vocals. 2023 is set to be a big year for Moksi, marking this single as the first of Moksi’s upcoming album ‘Moksi Crew’.
“I’ve been a fan of Moksi since I started DJing in 2017. I would always play out his records and still do,” Nostalgix continues. “Over the past couple of years we became good friends doing shows together and I absolutely love Moksi’s energy. We decided to get into the studio together, had the best time and created this amazing record from it. I love it so much!”
