Ray Volpe Unveils Debut Solo Single On Ophelia “Meant To Be Lonely”

“Meant To Be Lonely” marks the first solo release by red hot dance music producer Ray Volpe on Ophelia.

Emotive piano chords and scene stopping verses transition into spectrum filling saw leads and climactic drops in halftime and 4 on the floor rhythms. Dance pop singer & songwriter Donna Tella completes the track with love drunk vocals about a complicated relationship that leaves its members lonely together.

Ray Volpe’s track “Laserbeam” took the entire EDM scene by storm last year as the most played track at EDC Vegas with support from Skrillex, Excision and more. The track is currently trending on TikTok with millions of views and over 17,000 videos. The dubstep act just finished his debut headline tour with multiple sell out dates and is soon to embark on an international tour in Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Thailand. Donna Tella is the EDM alias for singer/songwriter Alexis Donn. After a debilitating nervous system condition (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) suddenly took Alexis from being a division one track athlete to barely walking, she promised herself if she could beat the odds and return to running, she could do anything – including achieving her quietly kept musical dreams.
