Were you to put together a list of names that you’d like to see together on a track, it would be a stretch to come up with a better combination than Sebastian Ingrosso’s latest Refune signing, “El Chupacabra” by Rob & Jack.
The track is, to say the least, an intricate web that’s designed to provide aural pleasure, featuring some lustrous and smooth basslines that have been mixed to perfection with some traditional Spanish guitar riffs and vocals. The juxtaposition of these two styles of music makes for an immersive, fascinating cocktail when shaken together with some Trap heavy flourishes from BROHUG, which ensure the drop intensity is nothing short of electric and sustained across the entire mix.
Ever since coming on to the scene, Rob & Jack appear to be following in the footsteps of some of their Swedish countrymen. Despite this, their sound and vivacious personalities are all their own. Their latest offering has had a relic from The DJ duo Lundebros and John Dählbacks’ alter ego, BROHUG, which gives it the deep down and dirty yang to the electro duo’s yin.
