Rising LA based DJ-producer and instrumentalist Rome In Silver drop his highly anticipated album ᖭ༏ᖫ spoken as ‘Dragonfly’ via Seeking Blue Records.
Initially making a name for himself with remixes like Flume’s Ezra and now with multiple releases on bitbird, Deadbeats, Monstercat, Thrive, and more, Rome In Silver now delivers an impressive debut album that is a culmination of everything he’s learned and been inspired by over the years. Spanning multiple genres, the record is a cohesive expression and sonic journey where fans can expect the unexpected.
The themes touch on getting older, not fitting in, and feeling alone as well as the symbolisation of transformation and new beginnings from dragonflies amongst a variety of experimental, indie, dance and funky beats, sharing something for everyone across the whole electronic music spectrum. Never pigeon-holing himself in one genre and citing influences like The Gorillaz, Madeon, Jerry Folk, Mura Masa, Remi Wolf, and Disclosure, the album makes for an unpredictable yet enjoyable and versatile sonic journey.
The producer already has a slew of successes, including landing a cover of Spotify’s Creamy playlist for his previous EP, touring with San Holo, Louis The Child, OddKidOut, CloZee, and Dabin, playing Electric Forest, The Shrine in LA, Bill Graham in SF, The Brooklyn Mirage in NYC and more whilst earning gaming syncs including the title track with Rocket League and Forza Horizon 5.
