American pop group After Romeo are storming the US since the release of their new EP ‘Good Things’.

The group are now set to bring their charm to the rest of the world. With their single ‘Good Things’ currently backing the renowned global Samsung Galaxy advert, it’s only a matter of time before they break the UK. Watch here!

Their debut EP perfectly presents their unique sound, encapsulating a blend of R&B and pop, moving them above and beyond existing groups The vocal layering, alongside the upbeat rhythm and positivity throughout each song leaves a catchy boyband resonance.

“We finally have a sound that truly represents us and now we can’t wait for our fans to see the live show. Creating is at our heart and soul and we love to show our fans what we’ve been working so hard on”, explain the group in regards to the ‘Good Things’ EP.

The 4-piece group; Drew Ryan Scott, Jayk Purdy, Blake English and TC Carter formed in 2013 in Los Angeles. The guys naturally came together through friendship, strengthening the bond of the group. Aside from their obvious ability to sing, each member brings unique talents. Drew Scott is the songwriter, who has previously worked with Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez. Stylist TC Carter gives the guys their chic appearance, whilst Blake English assists Troy Kirby with the choreography of their stage performances. Finally, Jayk Purdy specialises in managing their social media, keeping their 279,000 Twitter fans excited.

In 2014 the band became affiliated with Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’ foundation. This involved touring schools around the US to crowds in excess of 10,000 people to discuss their own experiences with physical and online bullying. Their success quickly kicked off after the release of their debut single ‘Free Fall’, which reached #1 in the MTV charts. Their second single ‘L.O.L.’ also reached #1 on MTV, making it no surprise to see them on Shazam’s current UK ‘Watch List’.

  1. Been a fan of After Romeo since day one! only had Twitter just under a year ago and since then I’ve interacted with the guys loads and got to know them more. Such talented, beautiful guys! Living in the UK makes me so sad that I don’t get to see them on tour/meet them, but I hope one day (soon) the U.K will realise how special and unique these boys are and we will build up a huge
    Uk army! I’m all up for supporting them in the process as it is my dream to meet these 4 men that change my life ? I wish them all the success on the world! Love them -@Kerry_wolohan x
