Sabrina Carpenter and The Strokes Set to Rock Austin City Limits 2025

Sabrina Carpenter and The Strokes are officially headlining this year’s Austin City Limits Music Festival, and the 2025 lineup is seriously stacked.

The 2025 ACL will take place over two weekends, from October 3-5 and again October 10-12, at Zilker Park in Austin, Texas. Joining the ‘Espresso’ queen and the ‘Last Nite’ legends are heavy-hitters like Hozier, Doja Cat, Luke Combs, John Summit, and Doechii, all ready to take over nine stages across the park.

That’s not even scratching the surface. Fans can also catch sets from Wet Leg, Rilo Kiley, Maren Morris, Empire of the Sun, Modest Mouse, T-Pain, Cage the Elephant, Japanese Breakfast, and Mk.gee. Whether you’re into indie bangers, country vibes, hip-hop throwbacks, or alt-rock anthems, ACL 2025 looks like it’s delivering something for everyone.

Tickets are already on sale, and considering how loaded the lineup is, they probably won’t last long. With nine stages and two weekends, this festival continues to be one of the biggest music events in the U.S., pulling in a mix of legends, rising stars, and boundary-pushers.

Sabrina Carpenter’s inclusion as a headliner is also making a statement. She’s been outspoken lately about the scrutiny female artists face for embracing their sexuality onstage. In a recent interview, she clapped back at critics who judge her for being confident in her skin. She pointed out how women in pop , from Madonna to Rihanna to Britney Spears , have always been targeted for the same reason.

She told The Sun that if anyone has an issue with her stage presence, they’re welcome to skip her shows. Sabrina said it’s exhausting how people ignore the themes of self-care, heartbreak, and growth in her music, only to focus on what she wears or how she moves on stage. She added that women need to support one another instead of tearing each other down, because even the most confident person has insecurities.

Austin City Limits 2025 is shaping up to be a celebration of not just music, but individuality and expression. Sabrina’s headlining spot isn’t just about her recent chart-toppers – it’s also a win for artists who own who they are and push back against outdated norms.
