Coming off his debut album release, Seven Lions releases a special VIP version of his cult classic collab with Kill The Noise “The Blood”.

The haunting track delves into three distinct drops of heart-pumping psytrance, head-banging dubstep and even elements of fast-paced techno.

Known for fusing electronic music with rock and metal, Shadow Cliq adds an epic rock guitar solo to amplify the original, which has almost 3M streams on Spotify. Seven Lions first teased the release on his Alchemy Tour in 2019 and the two artists have been playing the track out at EDC Vegas, Ultra Music Festival, Red Rocks and countless other festivals.

Also accompanying the VIP is a special limited vinyl release with bespoke artwork. Washington-based producer Seven Lions has never had an issue pushing the boundaries of electronic music to fulfill his creative vision. Catching a break after winning a Beatport remix contest in 2012 with his dubstep-focused version of Above & Beyond’s “You Got To Go”, Seven Lions, born Jeff Montalvo, garnered support from the likes of Anjunabeats, Casablanca, OWSLA, Viper Recordings, RepublicRecords, and Monstercat over the past ten years.

After releasing on a plethora of labels, Seven Lions founded Ophelia Records in 2018 which has since become a leading independent label in the melodic bass subgenre. Since its emergence only four years ago, the label has already made an imprint in the dance music scene having been voted Dancing Astronaut’s Label Of The Year in 2021, releasing multiple #1 iTunes Dance albums and hosting festival stage takeovers and showcases around the country.

His productions have seen stages at world-renowned festivals including Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, Electric Zoo, and HARD. In 2022, Seven Lions finally released his highly anticipated debut album ‘Beyond The Veil’ and landed the cover of Spotify’s biggest dance playlist Mint.

The music of Jake Stanczak, better known as American producer and DJ, Kill the Noise, was born out of an era where Ridley Scott imagined utopian futures on the silver screen, and artists like NIN and Aphex Twin rocked MTV. After channeling the influences of his youth through over a decades’ worth of forward driven electronic releases (Roots, Kill Kill Kill, Black Magic, Occult Classic), and charismatic live shows (Coachella, EDC Lollapalooza, Hardfest), the name “Kill the Noise” has become synonymous with some of the leading acts in dance music — getting creative in the studio with the likes of Dillon Francis, Deadmau5, AWOLNATION and Skrillex.

In 2022, Kill The Noise made his return with ‘EMBRACE’, his sophomore album and first in seven years. The album was accompanied by Kill The Noise’s 27 city tour to promote the record.

Shadow Cliq is the evolution of the modern rock band. They have pioneered their own sound through blending elements of rock and metal, electronic production, dynamic vocals, virtuosic guitar, and live drums.

Fronted by vocalist and guitarist, Annie, she is supported by DJ/Producer Danny, and Johnny on drums. Whether you experience them playing their full live set or a DJ set, you’ll see it’s a movement you can’t afford to miss. Welcome to the Cliq.

As the official record label of melodic dubstep leader Seven Lions, Ophelia is a label that promotes independent dance music and has been the official home for his music since 2018.
