Australian trailblazing producer SIPPY and New Zealand’s budding bass act Mylky join forces today for their debut collaboration, “Sylky,” on Monstercat Uncaged.

Both hailing from ‘Down Under’, it is with no surprise that this dynamic duo have delivered a monstrous collaboration led by a cinematic bassline, infectious drops, edgy stabs, and SIPPY’s new Distortion VST, creating an irresistible addictive bass masterpiece. “Sylky” has already been capturing the hearts of bass enthusiasts in the live circuit, infusing the audience with a thrilling surge of rumbling energy.

SIPPY continues to expand her presence and influence in the bass scene, building from her previous Monstercat release, “Get Wompy.” She announced a massive fall tour, hitting 25 stops including festivals like Lost Lands and Wakaan Festival, and venues such as Echostage in Washington, D.C. and The Vanguard in Orlando. The summer of 2023 has seen her pack out crowds like never before, including her return to HARD Summer and debuts at Bass Canyon and Moonrise Festival. In addition to her impressive list of opening slots for Zeds Dead, Excision, Ray Volpe, and Dirt Monkey (the latter of which she recently collaborated with), this year promises even more exciting opportunities as she takes the stage before Adventure Club and Mersiv.

With standout records like “Renegades” and “Varosti,” Mylky has been rapidly ascending in the electronic circuit, leaving his mark with hit tracks and unforgettable performances under his belt. His rise includes opening slots for lauded electronic acts such as Getter, Gentlemen’s Club, and Hydraulix. He has graced the decks at Lost Lands, Rhythm and Vines, and Spring Break in Fiji, garnering fans from around the globe.

SIPPY shares, “Mylky always sends me incredible music of his and I always absolutely love it. So after a while I eventually asked if he’d be interested in working on something together. “Sylky” happened really quickly and it felt like our styles really just slotted in with each other perfectly.”

Mylky adds, “I’ve actually been following SIPPY’s work since her collaboration with AWAL, “Senses,” back in 2017, and had the opportunity to support her at a show here in New Zealand a few years back! Since then, I’ve been sending a bunch of unreleased stuff her way and one of them was a super early version of “Sylky” we ended up working on together!”

SIPPY is gearing up for her upcoming performances at prominent events like Monstercat’s ADE Showcase, Holy Ship Wrecked!, and iconic venues such as The Ogden Theatre in Denver and Webster Hall in New York, where fans can experience “Sylky” live and be mesmerized by her stage energy. Next to her busy touring schedule, she is also preparing for the 2024 US Touch Football World Cup – a testament to her commitment to both athleticism and musical creativity.

As 2023 comes to an end, Mylky is set to end the year with a bang during his return to Rolling Meadows in New Zealand.
