What is known about Slushii has been incredibly limited. We know the master behind the moniker’s name is Julian, and that Julian certainly has an affinity for anime as we can see not only in Slushii’s sound, but in the visual presentation as well.
But what is more important than who exactly is behind Slushii, is the profound effect the mystery artist has had on electronic music in its short existence thus far. With a slew of remixes and free download originals, Slushii has certainly earned the attention that the project commands with its blend of bass music, dubstep, hip hop, and beyond to craft a sound that refused to be defined in simplistic terms.
In the second single of the upcoming album with Rocket League, Slushii joins the pack with his single “LUV U NEED U” . The future bass rooted tune has all the vibrant and playful elements we’ve come to love from Slushii’s work, while at the same time certainly fitting seamlessly into the game-play of Rocket League. With 16 more tracks to come, “LUV U NEED U” certainly sets the bar high.
