‘Stop Me From Falling’ is the latest release from Spektre who are a talented duo known for their peak time techno style.

Dark and driving with hints of euphoria, this two track EP is ready to cause mayhem on the dance floor.

Apparently, it has already found support with DJs including Alan Fitzpatrick, Bart Skils, Monika Kruse and Space 92, which is no surprise considering its high-energy and memorable hooks that make it well placed for big room performances.

It’s arguably a double A-side package, as both of the tracks are extremely strong productions that remind the techno community of why Spektre are held in such high regard. This release comes via Spektre’s own record label Respekt, but they have also featured on other imprints including the likes of Filth on Acid and Kraftek.

First up is the title track “Stop Me From Falling,” which is an interesting track that contrasts ethereal vocals and a delicate melody synth, that are layered with dramatic chords and a powerful acid line. “Nine Lives” has old-school flavour with MC style vocals cutting between the mammoth synth line and pounding percussion.

Both are very original pieces of music that add elements of trance and hardcore to a techno groove, and you can buy it HERE.
