After nearly a decade of producing music as SQL, Pim van Horssen has finally revealed his long awaited debut album “SEQUEL”.
After hitting some rocky roads in his career both emotionally and professionally, the artist inside him hasn’t given up. The diverse and immersive album channels the raw emotion and experience of the man behind it.
SQL offers a wonderful mixture of new tunes to complete the set with having covered all aspects of his music with his new album. SQL hasn’t stuck with his usual sounds for this one, in-fact he’s been seen experimenting with new styles and sounds.
“Sequel is about rebirth. It’s the culmination of everything I have loved, lost, learned and experienced in the last 10 years as a musician,” he says. “This cycle is the only constant factor in my music and my career, and by learning to accept it, I’ve come to terms with the music I make. This album is a reflection of who I am right now at this moment. It’s me, no compromise.”
