In an unexpected release, nothing quite like we’ve heard or come to expect from Martin Garrix’s STMPD Rcrds, the label dropped its first neo-classical album with the release of S. Salter’s new album ‘Juun.’
S. Salter is the collaborative moniker of Samuel Ruddick and Jeremia Reichen.
‘Juun’ which is now available via the label and on all streaming platforms is vastly different from anything which STMPD, which is known for its Electro and Future house bangers, has released in the past!
Using the soundscapes from their surroundings, according to STMPD, S. Salter captured sounds from rainy Dutch forests and eerie, empty Berlin metro stations at night.
S. Salter will be at the upcoming “Piano Day 2023” event created by Leiter Verlag and Nils Frahm, on March 29th which is set to be a showcase where “some of the most talented and forward-thinking composers and creators in the world.”
You can stream ‘Juun’ across platforms here.
