Monstercat veteran and happy hardcore artist Stonebank returns for his second release this year, this time tugging at your emotions with his new single, “Placebo”.
Stonebank is not one to shy away from releasing songs outside of his comfort zone and “Placebo” is a testament to his versatility as a producer. The angelic, emotion-ladened vocals and chords are flawlessly mixed into a bass-inspired drop characterized by driving drums and a rich bassline. The subtle inclusion of his classic happy hardcore synth throughout the track is a fantastic touch as it adds a layer of uplifting energy in an otherwise emotion-heavy track.
