Hamburg’s The Ironix are killing it in the game right now. They are increasingly in demand as both producers and DJs and have just released a catchy new single.
Out through Universal Music Germany is “I Wanna Dance With Somebody,” which is a future pop update of the famous track. We love the pair’s smooth grooves and almost floating melodies; it’s the kind of track you have to put straight on repeat.
Get yourself over Hump Day with this one – you can play it here.
About Ironix
Not so long ago, two young, talented guys had a dream: to inspire thousands of people with their own music. The school friends Felix and Simon then spent every free minute in their self-built basement studio. Already one of her first works, an unofficial remix to One Republic’s Counting Stars, was supposed to push the celebrity curve up abruptly. To date, this track has been listened to on YouTube and SoundCloud by more than 600,000 music fans around the world. Their first own singles (Obsessed – Dice Records, Lost in the Water – Run DBN) received tremendous popularity from some of the hottest DJs in the world like Thomas Gold, Sick Individuals, Oliver Heldens, Ummet Ozcan, Cedric Gervais, DJ Juicy M, B Phisto and many more.
No wonder that it should not take long for the two Freiburgers to interrupt their creative cellar sessions more and more often. The Ironix has shared their love for melodic big-room sound every weekend for over 2 years now with loads of festival and clubbers. Anyone who has experienced their excessive live gigs is not surprised that they are already represented at the major events such as the World Club Dome or the Open Beats Festival and several times a year in Ibiza next to the global DJ elite on the stage.
The dream of the two producers has already come true after a few years and it will be interesting to see where the journey will go…
