Travis Scott Shouts Out Daughter Stormi During Coachella 2025 Headline Set

Travis Scott’s Coachella 2025 is officially one for the books. The rapper made his return to the desert festival stage on April 12 and surprised fans with a sweet mid-performance shoutout to his daughter, Stormi.

While performing his set at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Travis paused and called out, “Stormi, let’s rock!” in front of the massive Coachella crowd. That quick, heartfelt moment instantly went viral, with fans loving the unexpected dad energy in the middle of a hard-hitting performance.

Travis shares Stormi, 7, and his 3-year-old son Aire with ex Kylie Jenner. She was also spotted at the festival alongside her current boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet – and yes, the internet clocked that real quick.

This was Travis Scott’s first time headlining Coachella, although he last performed at the festival back in 2017 on a smaller stage. This year, though, was all about going big. Leading up to the show, Travis promised an “immersive and experiential world in the desert,” and he definitely delivered with fire visuals, surprise guests, and unreleased music snippets.

Speaking of new music – Travis didn’t just hype up his crowd, he teased JACKBOYS 2, the long-awaited follow-up to his 2019 collab project. During a recent club appearance at LIV Miami, he told the crowd, “JACKBOYS 2 on the way, man. Let that motherf—er ride, ya dig.” The album’s been rumored for months, and Coachella may have been the soft launch for its rollout.

Travis also opened up about his new creative direction in a Complex cover story, saying he’s been deep into beatmaking and pushing his sound to stand out. “A lot of beats are kind of the same right now,” he said. “So the process of making something new from scratch is what makes it exciting again.”

Utopia might’ve been his last big project, but he’s not done experimenting. He’s already looking ahead to the next phase of his sound – and yes, he wants it to be stadium-sized and wild. “I just want to have the most ultimate fun with being creative,” he said.

Coachella 2025’s first weekend continues with headliners like Green Day, Lady Gaga, and Post Malone. Other major sets include Missy Elliott, Charli XCX, Megan Thee Stallion, BLACKPINK’s Lisa and Jennie (both performing solo), Ed Sheeran, and more.

Did you catch Travis Scott’s Coachella shoutout to Stormi?
