Wearing a distinctly 80’s musical influence on his sleeve, the uniquely named Universe & The Citizen aka UTC drops an old school tinged cut for his first ever release.
Titled “Blame It On My Body” and featuring Angie, it builds on a foundation of infectious synth-driven melodies, strong guitar licks and a solid percussive base.
Angie delivers a strong vocal performance – she adds a real dash of raw soul to the upbeat nature of it, empowering within the song’s lyrical content. Not much is known of the up-and-coming Bucharest based producer but with more sounds like this in future, we’re sure that’ll change.
