With many years in the game under his belt and a history as one of DJ’s fiercest competitors, it was only right that French bass titan UZ dropped a long player to showcase his incredible production skill.
The fruit of such labor was the “Layers” album that got a release earlier this year via his own imprint, Quality Goods Records.
With the label and UZ going from strength to strength, it’s remix season here as “Layers” gets a new lease of life on this new release. He’s brought some pretty impressive friends along for the ride to beef up the existing work. Featuring the mighty Foreign Beggars and Onoe Caponoe, “Bang” is subject to FOUR different reworks including one from well renowned drum & bass outfit Teddy Killerz. “Lobby” gets no less than three different remixes, including one from another Quality Goods act, the Australian trap king Yvng Jalapeno.
It’s a smorgasbord of beats and bass with which you are spoilt for choice.
