Worthy Kicks Off 2020 With, “Activate That Booty”

Still riding on the high of his success as an original ‘Dirtybird,’ esteemed producer Worthy is back with his latest track “Activate That Booty” – the latest house heater released on Gene Farris’ esteemed inprint, Farris Wheel Recordings.

Known for his genre bending productions and influence from the early American rave scene, Worthy’s sound breaks down the boundaries and rules of the electronic music realm, whilst continuing to rock the ‘dirtybird sound’ for over a decade.

Boasting an ear for quality house production, Activate That Booty uses warping riffs and grooving melodies that are set to energise the dance floor. Featuring a rhythmic combination of breakbeat drum patterns and hypnotic vocals, Worthy once again warps the house music status quo.

Since his explosion into the underground scene with his Disbehave album, Worthy has become renowned for a slew of releases, remixes and collaborations with some of the biggest names on the scene including, Thugfucker, Stanton Warriors, Yolanda be Cool, Nick Olivetti and Eats Everything.

With a huge back catalogue of tracks that have propelled him to the top of the Beatport chart and seen him release on Dirtybird, Defected, DFRD, Polydor, Tool Room and This Ain’t Bristol, the ‘Worthy’ sound has helped to cement him within the underground music scene before setting up his own label Anabatic Records in 2016. Now the latest addition on Gene’s label, Worthy kicks off the year with Activate That Booty to take over dance floors in the months to come.
