Now, linking up with FAST BOY for ‘Imagine Me & You’, the pairing brings a pumping offering as their first joint production for their myriad of fans both inside Controversia’s orbit and beyond. FAST BOY is a mysterious, cloaked duo that have been released with names including Alle Farben and Hugel, racking up over 30 million streams last year alone, receiving further support from the likes of Don Diablo.
Coming together to bring a deeper slick of the house that mutates with bass vibrations and a down-and-dirty melody, ‘Imagine Me & You’ takes its name from the famed ‘Happy Together’ classic track that injects a fresh and modern vitality to this 2022 electronic tip of the hat.
Speaking on the release Yves V said: “It was so much fun working with FAST BOY on this track. We really wanted to push a deeper sound for both of us that fitted into the Controversia vibe that sounded fresh, whilst also honoring the influential lyrics on the chorus. We enjoyed pushing a pumping, synth-heavy sound that then twisted and turned into a release that had a progressive melody, to add an edge that represented both of our styles.
