Deadmau5 announced he will be taking ‘We Are Friends’ for an all-inclusive festival weekend at Paradisus in Cancún, Mexico.
The scenic resort is also home to ILLENIUM’S Ember Shores and Kaskade’s Sun Soaked festivals and has proved to be an oasis for EDM artists and fans alike. The resort has multiple bars and restaurants along with 525 rooms and a bunch of multiple lagoon-style pools.
The 3-day festival will kickoff on December 16 and run through December 18, 2022. A lineup for the multi day festival has not yet been announced, except that NERO will be the main support while a host of special guests whom deadmau5 termed as ‘some friends’ will be joining the Canadian producer on the decks.

At the same exact time and on the same exact resort, Kaskade’s Sun Soaked will be taking place. It’s no secret that the two class acts have come together for their Kx5 project together but it still remains unknown if the simultaneous festivals were planned or a coincidence.
This isn’t the mau5trap label bosses first foray into a multi day festival since he hosted “Day of the deadmau5” over 3-days last year along with a bunch of label artists including Le Youth, Nero and more.
Packages for the ‘We Are Friends’ Cancún stop are on sale and can be bought here.
