Veteran drum n bass DJ, DJ Fresh has called quits on his illustrious career, calling out the industry for being ‘soul destroying’.
A name almost synonymous with drum n bass, Daniel Stein aka DJ Fresh has abruptly called quits on his career at the age of 39. The Englishman stated he will no longer be performing after January 2017 to focus on other endeavours. Citing multiple reasons, the producer was very clear he could not ‘continue to be part of this industry’ stating it had become ‘fake’ and ‘soul destroying’.
It is unclear whether Stein will continue to produce music under the DJ Fresh moniker or plans to give it up entirely. Though we do hope that’s not the case. If you’re still trying to figure out who DJ Fresh is, here’s one of his classic you may have come across more too often:
