Revellers will be given the chance to explore new, undiscovered parts of this hidden ravers’ paradise soundtracked by 5 stages spanning electronic genres and including the GRAMMY nominated ‘Cola’ producers CamelPhat, Detroit house maestro and arena host for this year with his Area 10 brand, MK, a special b2b performance from My Nu Leng and Redlight as well as the PLAYAZ stage presented by DJ Hype representing the best in drum & bass including SASASAS and Randall.

The invite to collaborate at Wymeswold Forest could not be ignored given its location and character. Wymeswold forest is located close to the Wymeswold airfield and sitting unvisited and Forbidden until now. Subsequently being used as a WW2 firing range and training ground for the MOD, this Forbidden Forest has since slowly become reclaimed by nature laying neglected and overgrown for decades. Many of the debilitated bunkers and buildings still stand to this day and create the natural décor to this new Forbidden Forest venue.

Forbidden Forest celebrated its 3rd anniversary this year with the sell out success of the May edition. The series was created by a team of rave enthusiasts with a desire to challenge convention within today’s festival and club circuit and is inclusive with a distinct DIY attitude that’s reminiscent of the UK house scene from decades before. An intimate, creative and enchanting addition to the summer calendar, the surrounding areas of Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Birmingham and Coventry are easily accessible via train, bus and coach, while the festival is a short train journey from London. There are also scheduled coaches travelling to the event from all other major towns and cities up and down the UK. Tickets for the September edition are on sale now, with Forbidden Forest’s rapidly growing reputation cementing its place as one of the UK’s most eagerly anticipated events.

Tickets are available here.
