SXM Festival, a clandestine electronic music getaway, today has announced the phase one lineup for its 2017 edition.

2017 edition

Riding in the wake of a blinding inaugural edition, next year’s event takes place March 15-19. Taking place on the picturesque Caribbean island of Saint Martin, this year sees an even richer programme in the form of Nina Kraviz, Ricardo Villalobos, Âme (live), RPR Soundsystem, Lee Burridge, Soul Clap, Honey Dijon, Black Coffee and more.

There are several stage locations including Palm Beach, the white-sand main stage; Maho Beach, where you can drink and dance directly beneath planes as they land on the island; Loteri Farm, a secret jungle retreat with huts and infinity pools; and Kontiki Beach, a fully decked out beach bar – sip cocktails and dip your toes.

Aside from the weighty musical offerings, you can enjoy exquisite, fresh local cuisine; revel in the jumble of French, Dutch and Caribbean culture on the island; and get involved in a wealth of other activities including kite surfing, mountain biking and water-sports.

“After our much talked about inaugural year, we are beyond excited to return to beautiful St. Martin with some of the world’s best DJs and producers. In curating this year’s lineup it was our hope to offer a look into the past, present and future of our community. From legendary fixtures of the scene, to up-and-coming stars, to the avant-garde sounds of tomorrow, we have bridged all channels in choosing the soundtrack for SXM Festival 2017. It was our hope to craft a lineup that reflected the talents of both men and women from across all corners of the globe and bring them to the oasis of St. Martin for a totally unique dance music experience” – Julian Prince, Founder of SXM Festival
