Diablo IV is getting darker, and heavier, with an epic crossover event that pulls in the iconic manga Berserk and the thunder of Finnish heavy metal band Beast in Black.
Titled Enter The Behelit, the brand-new track was written exclusively for Blizzard’s RPG and is now streaming on all major platforms. The song also comes with a moody, animated music video drenched in gothic vibes straight out of Diablo and Berserk.
This is more than just a music drop. Blizzard has confirmed a full-on crossover event with Berserk launching in Diablo IV on May 6, 2025. And if you’re playing Diablo Immortal, the collab is already live starting May 1. Expect the dark fantasy worlds of both franchises to collide with content that taps into Berserk’s brutal aesthetic and mythos.
Anton Kabanen, guitarist and songwriter for Beast in Black, broke down the creative vision behind the project. He said the band was drawn to the stark contrast between good and evil, flesh and spirit, and how that duality connects Diablo, Berserk, and their own music. That’s exactly what Enter The Behelit channels, layered intensity with a massive dose of heavy.
Along with the new song, the limited-edition maxi single will also feature two fan-favorite remastered tracks: Die By The Blade from From Hell With Love and The Fifth Angel from the debut album Berserker. Both picks are a nod to longtime fans and reflect the band’s Berserk-inspired roots.
This crossover comes just as Blizzard kicks off Diablo IV: Season 8, Belial’s Return. The latest season promises permanent upgrades and a deeper, more ambitious roadmap for the game going forward. It’s a smart time to drop a collab with a property as legendary as Berserk, which continues to have a cult following even years after creator Kentaro Miura’s passing.
The fusion of gaming, anime, and metal isn’t just for hype, it’s a love letter to fans of dark fantasy who’ve followed these franchises for years. And with Beast in Black’s gritty, emotional style, the crossover feels more like a natural evolution than a PR stunt.
If you’re a fan of slaying demons to the soundtrack of pure metal fury, this is the moment you’ve been waiting for. Fire up Diablo IV, blast Enter The Behelit, and step into a world where everything is darker, heavier, and a hell of a lot cooler.
