This heart-breaking news comes right a massive meeting held by the organizers with the workers that were setting up the huge venue.
Headliners like Lana del Ray, Paul McCartney, Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar were supposed to perform over the massive weekend.
This comes as a result of newly issued directions by the UK Governing body. Organizers also mentioned that the workforce and the promotional agencies are most likely the groups that will take the biggest hit from the cancellations.
Many other venues across UK have put a halt in their event schedule and have postponed their activities due to the very same tragedy.
In these testing times the organizers and the workers of many festivals are taking a huge financial hit that might last for several months or even years. We all hope that this dark period in the history of Entertainment and music is over.
