Caked Up, or Faked Up as I shall now be addressing them, have seriously taken copying music to another level!
It all started back in November when Faked Up stole a drop from Jackal’s track ‘Chinchilla’ followed by copying yet another drop from the loopmasters production site. Keeping aside their personal altercations and arrest issues, Faked Up have really not been the exact EDM role models.
For their latest offense, Faked Up have blatantly copied and pasted the drop from NIGHTOWLS’ & SPACE RACE’s remix for the deadmau5 & Dillon Francis “Some Chords” contest. Their track “Jon Snow” is available for free download, because nobody would be stupid enough to buy it (lets not forget additional suits that may follow).
Even a blind man would be able to deem this as an outright copy if he saw the beat-pattern of both drops!
