Josh Hussaney – Come On Down EP [Foreign Language]

0

Next up on Leeds based house label Foreign Language Records is a hotly tipped UK talent in the form of Josh Hussaney. He serves up one vibe fuelled cut and a remix from Scurrilous completes the tasty two track package.

Josh Hussaney maybe a fresh face on the house scene, but he is already making a big impression with support from the likes of Roger Sanchez already having come in for his fresh house sounds. To date they have come in the form of big hits like Burnin and Josh has been taken under the wing of K-Klass legend Paul Roberts as a result. Hussaney has also played established nights such as Audiowhore and Ministry Of Sound, and so is very much on the rise to the top and this new EP proves that once more.

‘Come On Down’ is a full fat, richly detailed house track with real heart and soul. It has shades of classic house, bouncey drums, emotive vocals and smeared stabs that really make for fun and functional, groove based listening. The remix from Scurrilous is a much more minimal, stripped back house affair with icy hi hats, an arpeggiated bassline and plenty of late night mischief in its bones.
